INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - 2017 is a pretty heavy year for the growth of retail industry in Indonesia. Several major retailers, both domestic and foreign, have flocked to close their stores in Indonesia.
However, facing the year 2018 which is also a political year, there is confidence of retail business actors will grow its industry.
It is also believed to be General Manager of Green Pramuka Square, Liza Monalisa who believes the retail industry of the country will be excited again in the next year.
"We are quite optimistic to look at the next year, and we have prepared innovations and strategies, for us the year of politics is not a problem," Liza told INDUSTRY.co.id in Jakarta, some time ago.
Green Pramuka Square which was inaugurated since December 21, 2016, with a resistance area of 37 thousand square meters has become an option for the residents of the apartment and the surrounding community to just spend time shopping everyday needs.
"In addition, our strategic location makes Green Pramuka Square become one of the options for meeting point," she explained.
Furthermore, she said, of the total rental space is already 85 percent filled. Average rental area of approximately 1000 square meters, with a range of prices ranging from Rp250-300 thousand per square meter.
"Currently there are about 60 tenant at Green Pramuka City, with 60 percent composition for F & B and 40 percent lifestyle," said Liza.
To attract visitors, she continued, the future we will continue to always innovate and we will be more focused towards lifestyle.
"Currently there are approximately 14 thousand visitors during the weekend and 10 thousand visitors in the weekdays," she said
Liza hopes with a politic event can revive the retail industry of the country. "We believe next year will be a pretty good year for us and the retail industry in Indonesia," Liza closed.
