Busan City Government, Ready to Build Mosque for Muslim Tourists

INDUSTRY.co.id - Busan – The Muslim tourists who visit South Korea is increasing, as the second largest city in South Korea after Seoul, it is no wonder that the city of Busan is now one of the favorite destinations of foreign tourists, especially Muslim tourists
The city of Busan is preparing to promote the construction of a place of worship for Muslim tourists in downtown Busan, Seomyeon, of course with the aim to attract Muslim tourists to the city of Busan.
If the construction is completed, it will be listed as the first built in a public place, namely in the main tourist attractions in the city of Busan. The construction of this place of worship is funded by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).
Busan government is still looking for a location for the construction of the place of worship. Bujeon market area and Seomyeon market is considered very strategic because it is a place of interest for tourists. Until now, the city of Busan is still trying to find the most suitable location.
The purpose of establishing Muslim places of worship is to attract more Muslim tourists from Indonesia, the Middle East and others, to the city of Busan.
Currently in Busan there are already several places of worship for Muslims such as at Gimhae international airport and Crown Harbor Hotel Junggu. In addition, Commodore Hotel, Busan Hotel and Paradise Hotel provide equipment for Muslim tourist worship.
The city of Busan also plans to promote the city of Busan at the Halal Restaurant Week, which will be held in Seoul in September.
The city of Busan has also budgeted 100 million won this year for the purpose of increasing Muslim tourists to the city of Busan
