Jasa Marga Targets Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road Development Starts Early this Year

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Jasamarga Probolinggo Banyuwangi (JPB) held the first General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) at Jasa Marga Head Office on Wednesday (24/1/2018), after obtaining a concession to build Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road with an investment of Rp23, 4 Trillion.
AVP Corporate Communication, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk Dwimawan Heru in an official statement said that one of the agenda in the first RUPS is to determine the Board of Commissioners and Management of JPB, as a subsidiary of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk. which manages the 172.91 Km toll road.
"Meanwhile, Director of Operations II of Jasa Marga Subakti Syukur is mandated as President Commissioner of PT JPB, R. Herman Dwi Haryanto as Commissioner, Dominicus Hari Pratama as President Director of PT JPB, and Rudi Kurniadi as Director of PT JPB." he said.
The Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road project, which is part of the Trans Java Toll Road project, is targeted to begin construction phase in early 2018, and is targeted to be fully operational by 2020.
Probolinggo-Banyuwangi toll road is planned to be divided into three sections. The three sections include: Section I Probolinggo-Besuki (46.1 Km), Section II Besuki-Curahkalak (59.5 Km), and Section III Curahkalak-Ketapang (66.4 Km).
Aside from being part of the Trans Java Toll Road project, Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road is also incorporated in the National Strategic Project (PSN) and supports government programs in infrastructure equity. The project is also built to improve the smooth distribution of goods and services (logistics) and increase connectivity in Java.
