Provincial Government and Pertamina Diligent Socialize Plan of Oil Refinery Development in Tuban

INDUSTRY.co.id - Tuban - East Java Provincial Government (Pemprov) with Pertamina and District Government Tuban, again conducted a socialization related to the strategic project development plan of Petroleum Refinery to be built in Tuban.

The socialization of land acquisition for the construction of the Petroleum Refinery project takes place at KSPKP Building, Tuban by inviting Remen Village residents, Jenu Sub-district, Tuban Regency whose land is included in the mapping for the refinery on Saturday (3/2/2018).

The socialization activities related to Petroleum Refinery have been done several times to the villagers of several villages in the District of Jenu, Tuban Regency. But some residents who plan the land will be purchased for the location of refineries claimed to have been refused by the refinery.

"Today we are doing socialization for Remen village," said Anom Surahno, Head of Government Administration Bureau and Regional Autonomy of East Java Provincial Government.

In the second socialization, some residents from the village of Remen, District Jenu, Tuban who get an invitation cannot attend. Allegedly residents who did not participate in the activity there is a provocation to not attend the occasion.

"We've met, and the friends present are pretty decent, about 75 to 80 percent, this is the second time, the first for Mentoso Village," he added.

From the results of socialization related to land acquisition plan for Oil Refinery previously in Mentoso Village is recognized not yet fully successful. However, with the socialization process, at least information about the existence of the national project has reached the people.

"If in Mentoso Village is not entirely successful, but it's already done we have taken the path of democracy with dialogue, even if they do not agree what does not agree, the cause and because what does not agree?

Meanwhile, socialization will be conducted alternately from several villages that will be the location of the refinery. In addition, the next stage will be public consultation and directly invite the citizens to conduct direct dialogue and data collection of people who own the land and enter the refinery project.
