The commitment of BCA is implemented by providing debriefing through Public Lecture to 300 students of Harapan Bangsa Institute of Technology (ITHB) with the theme of Indonesian Information Technology Development in Era Financial Technology on Friday (16/03).
Public Lecture opened by Rector of Institute of Technology Harapan Bangsa (ITHB) Bandung Samuel Tarigan presents BCA's Vice President Director Armand Wahyudi Hartono as a speaker. Also attending the event, Head of Regional Office I BCA Bandung Allan Sriwulandari, Director of Student & Career Resources Center ITHB Sandria Sarim, and Management BCA and Management Institute of Technology Harapan Bangsa (ITHB).
Each year, the development of information technology changes, both from the user and the initiator of technological innovation. On the other hand, the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) stated that the value of information and communication technology development index (IP-ICT) in Indonesia is still under other countries in Southeast Asia. The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) stated that in 2016, Indonesia was in the order of 111 out of 176 countries with index of 4.34. Therefore, every party, especially the younger generation of Indonesia must be technologically literate to be ready to face the increasingly heavy digital era with the latest innovations.
Vice President Director of BCA Armand Wahyudi Hartono present to share about the Development of Information Technology Indonesia in Era Financial Technology "and experience to students how technology can facilitate almost all the fulfillment needs of people in various fields, such as transportation, culinary, shopping, delivery of goods, . For this reason, BCA always strives to keep pace with technological developments that are aligned with the evolving needs of our customers. As BCA offers a variety of solutions right through digital applications, Virtual Assistant Chat Banking (VIRA), Application Program Interface (API), e-Branch and so on.
The development of technology and the development of the needs of customers may be said to have a straight comparison. Once there is new technology, surely the needs of the community also adjust. If an institution does not keep up with the progress, it is quite difficult to win the competition, added Armand.
