SOEs Is Lucky to Become Pillars Unifying Nation

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - SOE Minister Rini Soemarno asked all state-owned companies to work together to take advantage of their respective advantages so that they can prosper the community and become a pillar that can unite Indonesia.

"With good financial performance, SOEs can become pillars because they are present in all corners of Indonesia," said Rini after attending Fun Bike 2018 BUMN event at the Ministry of SOEs Office, Jakarta, Sunday (25/3/2018).

According to Rini, fellow SOEs should be mutually supportive, mutually guarding each other so that it can spur itself to be better for the environment of BUMN itself, or even for the nation.

"Basically, BUMNs must work together, even if they have to compete, it's okay, as long as they compete in a healthy way," she said.

She stressed that SOEs should be able to share to the wider community according to their duties as development agents.

"Although there are some companies that are less healthy, quite a lot of companies that perform better," she said to the media crew.

In front of about 1,200 state-owned employees who followed the bike that day, Rini said that the directors of SOEs to always seek a breakthrough in running the company.

"If the company profit, of course the most important note is the welfare of employees first.If there are employees who do not have a home, we must try how to provide it," she said.
