Lampung Targets Maritime Industry Area Built in 2018

INDUSTRY.co.id - Bandar Lampung-Provincial Government together with Tanggamus and Pertamina Government agreed to build Tanggamus Maritime Industrial Zone (KIM) in 2018.
"The licensing process is completed by the end of 2017, so that physical development can begin in 2018," said Lampung Provincial Economic and Development Assistant, Adeham at Bandarlampung, Friday (4/8/2017)
Lampung Provincial Government, he added, hopes cooperation between provinces and districts can implement this program as possible. According to him, Director General of Industrial Area Development of the Ministry of Industry supporting Lampung became the ship's industrial base.
KIM Tanggamus includes 20 National Strategic Projects (PSN) listed in Presidential Regulation No. 3 of 2016 on Acceleration of PSN Implementation.
Adeham said KIM is a national program that is directly checked by the President once a week. In addition to KIM Tanggamus, PSN in Lampung that is dam program, Radin Inten II Airport, and Trans Sumatra Toll Road.
Pertamina's VP Asset Strategy, Investment and Divestment, Hermawan, said that it is taking care of licenses related to the development of KIM, such as land management rights certification (HPL), principal licenses and industrial area licenses.
"Currently, we are entering the principle permit stage submitted to the Bupati of Tanggamus and are being reviewed by the local government, which is expected to be published in September, including a time-consuming industrial business license because there is an amdal-making process," said Hermawan.
Currently, Pertamina conducts roadshows and approaches to several countries to get investors. Pertamina and the Ministry of SOEs are also preparing the plan from masterplan to detail engineer design (DED). "Our hope of such investors can provide many benefits to local governments and communities," he said.
Head of Industry of Lampung Province, Tony Lumban Tobing, said he will attempt to synergize the program of President Joko Widodo into a program with Lampung.
"We hope this becomes the pride of Lampung People's," added Tony.
