Chase Target of 40 Million Subscribers, TCash Launches Three New Features

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, Mobile financial services products from Telkomsel, TCash re-update the application with the addition of three new features.
The three new features are Know Your Costumer electronically (e-KYC), paid by phone, and Snap QR or Quick Response Code. This is done to reach the target of 40 million customers this year. All three features can be fully enjoyed as of April 2018.
"We are the first financial technology (fintech) to be licensed for e-KYC and QR Code from Bank Indonesia (BI)," TCash CEO Danu Wicaksana told a press conference at his office in Jakarta (27/3/2018).
He added, for e-KYC, TCash is the most complete compared to other fintech because it uses video call for data verification.
With e-KYC, customers can enjoy full TCash wallet, including transfer funds. In accordance with Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 16 of 2014 on e-money, the maximum balance of registered customers is Rp 10 million.
While unregistered (non KYC) maximum balance of Rp 1 million. Then, for transactions limited Rp 20 million per month, whether registered or not.
The second service, which is paid by any purchase via phone or Payment Point Online Bank (PPOB) transaction. Such transactions are money transfers, finance bill payments, credit, internet data packages, electric tokens, TV subscriptions, online shopping, insurance, health insurance fees, voucher games, and travel tickets.
Finally, TCash also strengthens the Snap QR feature that can be used in 5 thousand merchants such as Ice Teller 77, Halal Guys, and Kopi Tuku. This QR snap will also be tested in Trans Semarang mode of transportation in April 2018.
"We have also explored other modes of transportation, including DKI Jakarta, all of which depends on the infrastructure," said Danu.
The plan, TCash can be used by other than Telkomsel subscribers in early April 2018. TCash also has discussions with all operators to be able to provide these services.
"Currently, we have to wait for permission from BI, maybe this week or next," said Danu.
