Pakistani Soap Manufacturer Invests US $ 15 Million for Production Development in Indonesia

INDUSTRY.co.id - Cikarang - A Pakistani-based company engaged in the soap industry, PT Indo Sultan Jaya (PTISJ) is investing US $ 15 million for the development of soap production in Jababeka Industrial Estate, Cikarang.

"One of the reasons behind this investment is because Indonesia is mostly Muslim, the people are friendly," said President Director of PT Indo Sultan Jaya, Ahmed Sultan at the opening site of the initial plant, Wednesday (28/3/2018).

Sultan said, soap production target and soap raw material at the factory is 50ribu tons per year. The production of soap from this company will be exported to the world.

As for raw materials for the production of soap, he said, will be obtained from local companies in Indonesia.

"Our products are imported worldwide, target to more than 52 countries in the world," said Sultan.

Pakistan's Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia, Muhammad Aqil Nadeem said the investment is also part of the economic cooperation between Pakistan and Indonesia that has been built since 70 years ago.

"Pakistani companies in Indonesia are not many, but will continue to grow," said Aqil Nadeem at the opening site of the soap factory PT. Indo Sultan Jaya.

Aqil Nadeem estimates the investment value of entrepreneurs from Pakistan in Indonesia to reach USD 3 billion.

PT Indo Sultan Jaya was established in 2015 in Indonesia as a diversification / expansion of the main segment of agro-industry in fruit and vegetable business for more than two decades in Indonesia.
