Len Industri Send Railway Interlocking to Bangladesh

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Len Industri (Persero) through its subsidiary, PT Len Railway Systems (LRS), has sent rail interlocking equipment to Bangladesh.
The product was dispatched on Friday (13/4/2018) from Tanjung Priok Port after fumigation and will transit in Singapore until 20 April 2018.
It was then dispatched and expected to arrive in Bangladesh on May 5, 2018 at Chittagong Port, Bangladesh.
Director of LRS, Dewayana Agung Nugroho, explained that the products delivered are interlocking equipment which will be installed in four stations, namely Jamtoil Station, Chatmohar Station, Bangabadu Setu West Station and Bangabadu Station Setu East.
"We will also make some modifications to the existing railway interlocking system because being able to modify railway signaling products from several other vendors is one of the advantages we have," LRS, a system integrator and strategic partner in railway operations, said Dewayana, in a press release, Monday (4/16/2018).
He added that the installation of the product can be done starting May 5, 2018 and commissioning before June 28, 2018.
Meanwhile, President Director of Len Industri, Zakky Gamal Yasin, said the value of product sales to Bangladesh is not large, but it is important for the company.
"In the future there are still many business opportunities in Bangladesh that can be done from Bangladesh we can further penetrate into the surrounding countries," unar Zakky.
LRS has signed a contract with one of the local companies in the country that has won a job tender in Bangladesh with Bangladesh Railway (Regulator and Owner of Railway Facility and Infrastructure in Bangladesh) as the owner of the work. (imq)
