INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta -President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) rejects the proposal of Kediri Airport to be included in the list of national strategy projects (PSN). This was disclosed Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi in the Palace Complex. According to him, it has been decided in a limited meeting (ratas) PSN evaluation at the Presidential Office, Central Jakarta yesterday.
The Kediri Airport is not the only one denied, but there are six proposed projects in the transportation sector.
"Kediri Airport, Sukabumi Airport, Sukabumi double track development, Merak Port, Bakauhueni Port, and Ketapang Port," said Budi.
However, said Budi, President Jokowi also decided for the project the proposal can still be equivalent to PSN through new rules.
"So from the President, whether the PP, whether perpres, there is one form of decision that provides an opportunity for the way of land acquisition using Law 2 not only PSN but also strategic but not necessarily incorporated into the PSN," said Budi.
This new beleid, continued Budi, will also provide facilities such as land acquisition as an early acceleration of development.
"Yes there is one Minister decree, government decree, president regulation which facilitate the land acquisition and standard in settling the goodness," said Budi.
Meanwhile, Budi Karya also mentioned one of the transportation sector projects that was released from PSN list of one of the railway development projects in East Kalimantan. According to Budi, the reason is because no investor has raised his interest.
"To constrain many variants, there are land issues, investors problems, even various, some are related to the feasibility of the project, for East Kalimantan in take out (exit), investors do not exist," he explained
