INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, Chairman of Kadin Indonesia Rosan Roeslani explained that Indonesia-Hong Kong bilateral relationship can support acceleration of development in Indonesia.

"There is great potential for Hong Kong in infrastructure development, where the government is making efforts to accelerate physical infrastructure, and tourism and marine are another priority for infrastructure development," Rosan Roeslani said in Jakarta (26 / 4/2018).

He explained that Hong Kong investors have an interest in financing infrastructure development. If the cooperation can be realized it will bear fruit for Indonesia as well as continue the economic relation of both parties.

With regard to the bilateral relations between Indonesia and Hong Kong in 2016, China's special autonomous region is also the fourth largest investor in the country, worth US $ 2.2 billion.

"Despite the difficulties and challenges in the global economy, China is continuing with Belt and Road initiatives in the past four years," Kadin believes, it will bring mutual benefits, "Rosan said.

Indonesia, in the view of Kadin Chairman, is quite late in making use of the cooperation. The project in the Belt & Road Initiatives corridor is divided into three regions, namely North Sumatra, North Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, and Bali. The total investment value reached US $ 51.93 million.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong's Chairman of the Trade Development Council (HKDTC) said that Hong Kong business people often ask for information about investment space in Indonesia, after the rapid train project. What to offer besides capital investment is a mix of loans, professional skills, production capabilities.
