INDUSTRY.co.id - Samarinda- The export value of East Kalimantan Province during the period of January-March 2018 to a number of destination countries reached 4.57 billion US dollars, equivalent to more than Rp62, 16 trillion with a record average US dollar exchange rate worth Rp13.500.

Meanwhile, non-oil and gas commodities other than mineral fuels, among others, in the form of animal and vegetable fats and oils were valued at 144.46 million US dollars, up 27.58 percent compared to the same period of 2017 of 113.23 million US dollars.
Next exports of inorganic chemicals, inorganic or inorganic compounds worth 69.56 million US dollars, a decline of 11.44 percent compared to January-March 2017 amounted to 78.54 million US dollars.
"Later timber and wooden exports accounted for $ 31.5 million, 16.1 million US dollars of inorganic chemicals, 22.06 million dollars of inorganic chemicals, and various chemical, residual and industrial products worth 8.27 million US dollars , "he explained.
He continued that the export value in January-March 2018 for oil and gas commodities with the destination country of Japan worth 447.17 million US dollars, an increase of 26.75 percent over the same period the previous year which recorded 352.8 million US dollars.
Then exports to Taiwan worth 90.58 million US dollars, down 65.71 percent rather than the same period of 2017 amounted to 264.16 million US dollars. Further exports to South Korea worth 78.5 million US dollars, down 54.57 percent than the previous about 172.79 million US dollars.
