23 Development Projects Use Hajj Fund Financing Scheme

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Hajj Finance Management Agency (BPKH) allocates Rp13 trillion for investment in domestic development projects. The project will be facilitated by Center for Private Investment (Pina).

"Located Rp13 trillion for this year, in accordance with Government Regulation No. 5 of 2018 on Haj Financial Management," said CEO of Pina, Ekoputro Adijayanto, at the Bappenas office, Jakarta, Tuesday (22/05/2018).

The allocation, in accordance with the cooperation of both and followed up the signing of memorandum of understanding (MoU), last month. Pina is expected to look for projects that are good and the risks are relatively small.

Previously, President Joko Widodo, wanted the investment of pilgrimage funds managed by the principles of sharia and prudence. Nor should choose the least risk and can get the maximum benefit.

Jokowi also alludes to the possibility of using more effective Haj funds. Thus, its use not only for pilgrims, but also the interests of Muslims as a whole.
