President Jokowi Make Sure Eight Dams Completed in 2018

INDUSTRY.co.id - Kuningan - President Joko Widodo revealed that the construction of eight reservoirs will be completed by 2018, one of which is Kuningan Dam in West Java.

"This year there are eight dams completed including Kuningan," said President Jokowi when reviewing the construction of Kuningan Dam in Randusari Village, Cibeureum District, Kuningan District, West Java, Friday (25/5/2018)

The government through the Ministry of Public Works and People's Housing (PUPR) has built 65 dams and one by one will be completed, said the Head of State.

President Jokowi said that the Kuningan Dam is almost complete, there is no problem with the population of about 365 heads of households.

"The affairs of moving the affected population 365 families have no problems," he said.

The President also explained that Bendungan Kuningan is able to irrigate 3,000 hectares of rice fields, both in Kuningan and Brebes, Central Java. "Also can meet the raw water requirement of 300 liters per second for 300 thousand family heads," he added.

The dam that is located in Randusari Village, Cibeureunq District, Kuningan Regency, which is planned to reach 221.59 hectares of this pool can accommodate 25 million cubic meters of water.
