INDUSTRY.co.id - Serang, - There are already about 12 countries that say their readiness will send their delegation to monitor the process of elections simultaneously in some areas of Banten on 27 June.
Chairman Bawaslu Banten Didih M Sudi in Serang, Saturday (2/6/2018) said, Pilkada simultaneously in Banten will be one of the objects of monitoring of international institutions. Like the Year 2015, the simultaneous pilkada in Banten also became the attention of international monitors such as that time the delegation from Egypt visited the South Tangerang City that was pilkada.
"Banten is the place of research of international institutions, in this year's Pilkada which is the monitoring location of Serang City and Tangerang City," said Didih.
According to him, monitoring of foreign institutions in the current elections cannot be avoided, especially in the era of globalization. Because in many other countries, the electoral organizers are still part of the government and elections is a source of conflict.
"In many election countries the source of the conflict, Indonesia is an example country because in the process of power transition does not cause conflict," said Didih.
According to him, a number of locations will be used as a pilot in the vote for example in the Penitentiary (LP) and Hospital (RS). There are 10 locations of TPS in each regency / city which will be the monitoring location that is in Serang City and Tangerang City.
A number of countries have already confirmed to send election monitoring delegates, namely Australia, Nepal, Maldives, Bangladesh, Switzerland, Cambodia, Timor Leste, India, Thailand and Laos.
"This all needs the readiness of all organizers because we will have guests," said Didih.
While monitoring the activities of political parties or prospective legislative candidates and candidates for regional heads during Ramadhan, Bawaslu conducted intensive monitoring both day and night by disciplining a number of banners, Ramadan speech billboards that led to the campaign.
"Bawaslu does not prohibit people from doing good, giving charity to increase worship, but if they want to give alms, please leave it to the formal institution, do not get any indication of campaign, even if there is Ramadhan speech please do not include political party," said Didih.
It invites all parties to respect each other in the month of Ramadan by preserving its holiness and avoiding the acts that will damage the holiness of Ramadan such as spreading hoax news, hate speech and sheep fighting.
