The underpass will have a length of 712 meters, a width of 17 meters, and a height of 5.1 meters. From the result of feasibility study (FS), the presence of underpass can reduce congestion up to 50% from its original condition. Vehicles from Nusa Dua to Denpasar or vice versa will be through the underpass so that travel time faster vehicles.
The construction has started since September 2017, worth Rp 168.3 billion through the budget of National Road Implementing Agency VIII, Directorate General of Highways. The construction is done by PT. Adhi Karya-PT. Nindya Karya-PT. Wira KSO. As for supervision consultant by PT. Wira Widyatama, PT. Aria Jasa Reksatama, and PT. Patria Procedure (Joint Operation).
