The Government Immediately Opens the Eight Trans Java Toll Roads

INDUSTRY.co.id - Boyolali- The government will soon inaugurate eight Trans Java toll roads this year along with the ongoing process of work.
"Today we have inaugurated the Kartasura-Sragen toll road which is 35 kilometers long," said Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basoeki Hadimoeljono at the inauguration of Ngemplak Toll Gate in Boyolali, Sunday (15/07/2018).
He said the Kartasura-Sragen toll road is one of the eight Transjawa toll roads currently in progress.
"While others there are Sragen-Ngawi, Wilangan-Kertosono, and Batang-Pemalang," he said.
He said the budget required for the construction of eight toll roads amounted to Rp13, 5 trillion. The project itself, he said, has been started since 2007.
"The land acquisition process has been started since that year, and starting in 2015 is done massively," he said.
Meanwhile, he said, for other toll road projects that are currently still under construction include Kartasura-Salatiga, Samarinda-Balikpapan, and Medan. Especially for Kartasura-Salatiga predicted to be completed in the near future.
As for the new toll road construction plan that is Semarang-Demak.
"For Semarang-Demak segment this year it will be auctioned," he said.
