PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan Apologizes to the Lampung Community

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - DPP Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan believes the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will act professionally in handling the case that ensnare his sister, Zainudin Hasan who is the Regent of South Lampung.

"I fully hand over the case to the KPK I believe KPK will be professional," Zulkifli told media crew, Friday (27/7/2018)

He said he as PAN Chairman always reminds his cadres to stay away from corrupt behavior.

He asked his sister to be cooperative after KPK arrested hands on Thursday (26/7/2018) night.

"As a sister, I apologize to the people of Lampung Selatan in particular and the whole community of Lampung for what happened," he said.

Zulkifli who is also Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia said that as the eldest brother, the deputy parents are very concerned and sad about the disaster that occurred.

He said his family since childhood was educated to always work hard and do honest, so that the events that befell her sister became a test for the family.

Previously, KPK apparatus arrested a total of 12 people in Operation Capture Hand (OTT) in South Lampung Regency on Thursday (26/7) night until Friday morning.

"Until this morning, about 12 people have been secured and will be planned some will be taken to the KPK office in Jakarta," said KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah.

Those arrested in the operation include the regional head, members of the Regional House of Representatives, and persons from the private sector.

Among those arrested, there was South Lampung Regent Zainudin Hasan, the biological sister of MPR RI Chairman and PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan. Zainudin is also the Chairman of PAN Lampung Province.
