INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- Indonesia Shopping Center Tenants Association (Hippindo) as the organizer of Discount Shopping Day of Indonesia (HBDI) and Happy Birthday Indonesia Festival (HBDIF) targeting total transactions reached Rp20 trillion.

Chairman of Hippindo Budihardjo Iduansjah describe the target up to Rp20 trillion transactions are obtained through HBDI offering discounts in shopping centers, shops to airports in various cities in Indonesia 17-20 August 2017.

"Around 20 trillion. The target we attract 20 million visitors in all cities in Indonesia on a four-day, 17th to August 20th, 2017," Budi said after the inauguration HBDI in Gambir Expo Kemayoran Jakarta, Tuesday (08/15/2017)

HBDI concept of the show is divided into two, namely HBDI which took place in shopping centers, shops to airports in various cities in Indonesia on August 17 to 20, 2017 and HBDIF held in Gambir Expo Kemayoran, Jakarta from 15 to 27 August 2017.

Budi said the HBDI held in its first year was in addition to a present in the 72nd Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as to increase public purchasing intentions and create a shopping trend in August.

According to him, the eighth month is generally a decline in purchasing intentions due to the return to school "back to school" so that many people who already use the money for school fees and purposes.

"Indeed, eight months tuh usually ugly sales can go down to 10 percent.Be busy or what, definitely down in the eighth month," said Budi.

HBDI is targeted to attract 20 million buyers as well as become Indonesia's largest shopping, culinary, music and entertainment retail festival, with more than 200 companies managing 500 local and international brands. Especially in Gambir Expo Kemayoran, there are more than 300 "tenant" outlets of which 85 are from Smesco.

The 72nd Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia is the inspiration of retailers in attracting consumers in HBD Indonesia. Consumers will receive various promotions related to the 72 numbers offered by participating retailers, including discounts of up to 72 percent and a special price of Rp72,000.
