Tiket.com Offer Cheaper Rates in Applications

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- Online travel agent Tiket.com promotes transaction growth through in-app applications by offering cheaper rates than through its pages.

"The price is cheaper when booking through the application, there are many promos through the application because of the more loyal application use. It is also more comfortable and fast," said founder Tiket.com Gaery Undarsa, in celebration of the 6th anniversary of Tiket.com in Jakarta, Thursday (8/24/2017)

He says the promos and discounts given through the app are 80 percent more than those offered through his page and the discounted value varies.

After the acquisition of Blibli.com e-commerce in June 2017, Tiket.com chose to focus on the application because the forward trend is expected to continue to translate through the application.

Gaery says the Tiket.com application is now being used by three million users with a growth of 200 percent per year.

"Until now the transaction through the application has reached 47 percent of the total transaction," said Gaery.

The rapid growth of application transactions seen from the first year of application launch in 2014, transactions only six percent of the total, in the next year by 15 percent of total transactions and in 2016 growing to 30 percent of all transactions.

Gaery said the potential of application users is very large because the internet access of 85 million Indonesian people mostly through the device.

To that end, it continues to develop and update applications to make users more comfortable with the availability of more options, the process of searching and payment is not complicated and easy to compare prices.

Tiket.com has also worked with 50 domestic and international airlines and is connected with 180 thousand hotel chains around the world and has travel products to rent cars and attraction tickets.
