INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - When national and local businessmen trust to him to lead the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Indonesia 2015-2020 period, in fact at that time Rosan Perkasa Roeslani must work hard to bring KADIN into an organization that effectively represents the voice and interests of the business world in particular Related to the creation and implementation of economic policies throughout Indonesia.
Although only two years of lead, Business Administration alumnus from Oklahoma State University, United States, this has shown its work well.
Her business talent has been visible since the man who was born in Jakarta, December 31, 1968 is preferring business school rather than passing into medical school like his father.
The choice was right. The man who had studied at Antwerp European University Belgium and achieved a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), is growing and developing into a successful businessman. PT Recapital engaged in finance, insurance, property, mining, and others continue to develop wings with tens of thousands of workers. But on the other hand there is a philanthropic soul within him. Amanah Recapital Foundation to help people who can not afford, is one of his proof.
Rosan's leadership at KADIN as a government partner went positively. Not a few policies in the field of business and business world to be implemented government first heard the voice of KADIN.
"So the policy issued by the government becomes a more targeted, efficient and better policy," Rosan said as quoted by Men's Obsession Magazine, August 2017.
One thing that serious attention KADIN today, according to Rosan is in the field of human resource education (HR). This is important so that the skills of Indonesian workers can compete with other countries, especially with neighboring countries with the enactment of the ASEAN Economic Community (MEA).
One of the concrete steps that KADIN has undertaken is to target 200,000 interns to get vocational training (Dual System Education, Theory and Practice) with corporate partners in Indonesia which amounted to 2,640 until the end of this year.
Related to the relationship between KADIN and the government, Rosan acknowledged very good and synergized. "I see it is not an obstacle yes, sometimes we try to help the government in harmonizing the policy," he said.
Because, continued Rosan, usually policy in the central government with the local government still needs to be synchronized. To that end, Rosan asserted necessary communication openly, transparently fellow business actors and government.
Then, how Rosan see the business world and business at the age of Indonesia to the 72 years? "I see the better and growing, and is expected to be an independent nation," he added
About the challenges faced by KADIN, Rosan admitted that the main thing is to improve the business world, the economy in quality. "Qualified is in the sense of the word increase not only in terms of prosperity but improvement in terms of human resources," he concluded.
