INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Sekawan Intipratama Tbk (SIAP) targets the construction of a 2 x 100 Megawatt (MW) mine steam power plant in East Kalimantan (Kalimantan Timur) to start in 2018.
This is in accordance with the Electricity Supply Enterprise (RUPTL) Plan of Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) in 2017 2026 stating that the mine mouth steam power plant construction must be completed by 2021.
President Director of SIAP, Christian Victor Ponto stated, currently for the construction of the plant has been made free Feasibility Study (FS) which has been reported to the PLN, especially PLN Batubara.
Free FS has been made; we have met with PLN Batubara. Because PLN Coal will be supplying low grade coal to the mouth of the mine, he said, Friday (08/09/2017).
SIAP has also reported its free FS results to other subsidiaries of PLN as the 51% shareholder will be PT Indonesia Power (IP). Unfortunately, Christian has not been able to say how much the investment value is prepared.
We are still counting the investment because we have to see the portion respectively. Later 51% owned by PLN through Indonesia Power, said Christian. (tan)
