Pengiriman Protecto VM ke Thailand
INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Pertamina Lubricants exports its initial VM (Visco Modifier) Protecto product to Lube Oil Blending Plant (LOBP) of Pertamina Lubricants Thailand Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of PT Pertamina Lubricants and has been officially operational since 2014.
With this export, PT Pertamina Lubricants is committed to optimizing its ability to compete in the tight competition of the lubricant market in the international market especially in Asia.
The initial exports are carried out at Jakarta's Tanjung Priok Production Unit (PUJ) which is one of the factories owned by PT Pertamina Lubricants as well as the largest integrated lubricant plant in Southeast Asia.
VM (Visco Modifier) Protecto is a semi-finished product processed from additive and base oil and produced by PT Pertamina Lubricants at Lube Oil Blending Plant (LOBP) in PUJ. This product is one of the materials needed to produce Pertamina lubricant which will be marketed by Pertamina lubricants Thailand Co., Ltd. for automotive and industrial segment.
The efforts of PT Pertamina Lubricants to penetrate the global market have been done since December 2014, by becoming 74% majority shareholder of AMACO Production Co. Ltd., a lubricant manufacturer in Thailand - which has now officially become Pertamina Lubricants Thailand Co. Ltd.
With this, PT Pertamina Lubricants increasingly consolidate its existence globally by strengthening its lubricant product portfolio in Indochina market. Currently, Pertamina Lubricants has also expanded to 14 countries in the world.
"The step of expansion and export to our subsidiary is one of the realization of our commitment to Pertamina worldwide by providing the best products and innovations of the nation's high quality works in the international lubricants," said Afandi, President Director of PT Pertamina Lubricants in Jakarta (12/9 / 2017).
In early 2015, Pertamina Lubricants (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has been producing and distributing industrial lubricant products for various business sectors including agribusiness with superior lubricant products namely Meditran SXT 15W-40 API CI-4 Plus and Turalik 52 ISO VG 68.
