Ministry of EMR Sign MoU for Human Resource Development with 11 Bu / BUT

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Ignatius Jonan opened Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Synergy Development of Human Resources (SDM) of EMR sector with 41 Business Entities (BU) and Permanent Enterprises (BUT) of ESDM sector on Monday 18/9) in Jakarta.
In addition to opening the FDG, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding of Human Resource Development of the ESDM sector. The MoU was signed by the Head of BPSDM with 11 (eleven) BU / BUT, namely: PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk, Chevron Pacific Indonesia, Medco E & P Indonesia, PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk, PT Timah (Persero) Tbk, PT Freeport Indonesia, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy, PT Geo Dipa Energi (Persero), PT Pertamina Drilling Service Indonesia, PT Kaltim Prima Coal and PT Adaro Indonesia.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding is intended as a legal umbrella in the implementation of inter-party cooperation in the development of human resources in the ESDM Sector. This is in line with the submission of several Work Units within the ESDM BPSDM to Work Unit with Financial Management of Public Service Agency (PK-BLU).
Minister Jonan confirmed, with the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding is expected to have cooperation in the field of teaching and learning process in the sector of ESDM.
"If you have a corporate training if you can synergize each other, send each other teachers, etc. Please all BU / BUT if we ask to teach, send people, sharing knowledge, sharing competence, also sharing proficiency, because BPSDM we want it as school (education) vocation," said Jonan.
He explained that in vocational schools, the output is proficiency, in addition to learning theory, also taught the practice in the field, so that more teachers from the real sector who participated. "I want BPSDM to be a vocational school, except STEM Akamigas up to D4, graduates in addition to competence must also have proficiency, can do well," he said.
For example, the practice of vocational education is done by sending learners to the site directly, "If education (sub-sector) of mining yes means to be sent there, I think Freeport one of the operations of underground mining activities extraordinary," said Jonan.
BPSDM ESDM itself is expected to have an important role in the development of human resources by holding training and certification in the EMR sector. Currently BPSDM ESDM has 12 training and education locations spread in Jakarta, Bogor, Bandung, Sukabumi, Cipatat, Cepu, and Sawahlunto.
These training sites have complete educational and training facilities, including: electric power installation laboratory, basic power installation laboratory, synchronous motor generator simulator, simulator of electrical energy management, electrical power cycle simulator, instrument room of diesel, laboratory for generation set and prime mover / load bang synchronize, electrical network workshops, boiler plant power steam simulators, lighting / lighting / lamp simulators, solar cell / diesel wind and biomass hybrid simulators, PLTS facilities, biogas simulators, PLTB simulators, mini, cyber drilling simulator, underground mine simulator, workshop and blasting laboratory, conveyor belt, rod header, well support equipment, and drilling rig simulator.
