GIIAS Surabaya Auto Show 2017 Officially Opens

INDUSTRY.co.id - Surabaya - GAIKINDO (Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries) today opened GIIAS Surabaya Auto Show 2017 at Grand City Convex - Surabaya. GIIAS Surabaya Auto Show is a series of international automotive exhibition owned by GAIKINDO. This year's GIIAS Surabaya Auto Show 2017 becomes the third series after the presence of GIIAS Makassar Auto Show (10-14 May 2017) and GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2017 - ICE BSD (10-20 August 2017). This year's GIIAS series will be closed by GIIAS Medan Auto Show (22-26 November 2017).
 
This automotive exhibition was officially opened by the East Java Provincial Secretary, Dr. H. Ahmad Sukardi, MM and Chairman III GAIKINDO, Rizwan Alamsjah, who is also the Chairman of GIIAS 2017 Exhibition. In his speech, Ahmad Sukardi expressed his support for the exhibition which has been held 3 times this.

"On behalf of the East Java provincial government and East Java people, I welcome the implementation of GIIAS Surabaya Auto Show 2017. This proves that East Java has good prospects as a national car sales contributor" In addition Sukardi expressed his hope to the implementation of the exhibition GIIAS Surabaya Auto Show 2017 , "This exhibition is very meaningful for East Java, hopefully this exhibition is successful in East Java because Jatim also have an interest to increase local opinion," he said in Surabaya on Wednesday (20/09/2017)
 
While Rizwan Alamsjah, Chairman III GAIKINDO explained that the presence of GIIAS Surabaya Auto Show is a form of GAIKINDO commitment in continuing to encourage the growth of the Indonesian automotive industry. "GIIAS Surabaya Auto Show 2017 is GAIKINDO's effort to raise the automotive industry, especially in East Java which is one of the biggest contributor areas of national car sales in Indonesia."
 
"After the GIIAS 2017 series opened in Makassar last May, and continued in ICE BSD Tangerang, and now we bring GIIAS atmosphere to Surabaya. We hope this exhibition can boost industrial growth in East Java, especially Surabaya, which then will certainly contribute to the growth of the automotive industry nationally "said Rizwan.
 
He expressed his belief that GIIAS Surabaya 2017 is a barometer for the automotive industry in East Java. According to him, the concept of First Class Auto Show will bring GIIAS Surabaya Auto Show 2017 as a classy automotive exhibition and always awaited by Surabaya and its surrounding community as it presents and represents the biggest automotive exhibition in Indonesia, GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2017 which is a series of exhibition agenda automotive world.

"A total of 30 APM exhibitors consisting of 12 brand passenger cars and 1 commercial vehicle and 20 brands supporting the automotive industry will provide the best experience for automotive lovers in Surabaya to visit GIIAS Surabaya Auto Show 2017." he said
 
Furthermore, Rizwan hopes that the efforts and synergistic cooperation between GAIKINDO, Seven Event and One Event in inviting the Brand Holder Agents (APM) GAIKINDO members of the exhibition to present the latest vehicles that become their flagship will contribute positively to GIIAS series of areas such as effects positive that is seen on the title GIIAS 2017, last August.
 
The total of more than 30 exhibitors will enliven GIIAS Surabaya Auto Show 2017, consisting of 12 brand passenger car that will enliven GIIAS Surabaya Auto Show 2017 is BMW, Daihatsu, Honda, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitshubishi Motors, Renault, Suzuki, Toyota, Wuling, KIA, and Mitsubishi Fuso will present represent the brand of commercial vehicle.
