Vice President JK Appreciates Myanmar Issues Resolved Regional

INDUSTRY.co.id - New York- Vice President M Jusuf Kalla agrees with the speech of US President Donald Trump who does not want to get too involved in the Myanmar issue and expects more of the role of the surrounding country to come along.

"We see that the United States does not want to play a big role in the world, like Myanmar, Trump impressed this issue to be the responsibility of ASEAN, and it is true that we should be like that," Vice President Jusuf Kalla said when asked for comments related to the President of the United States United Donald Trump at the opening of the United Nations General Assembly (SMU) session in New York USA Tuesday.

The Vice President said Donald Trump's speech as usual, in the American viewpoint for America.

"Actually we expect his viewpoint for the world," said the Vice President as quoted by Antara.

Related to the Myanmar issue, the Vice President agrees that if there is a conflict in a region then the surrounding country helps to solve it.

"We help him and that's the role of Indonesia, we are responsible for security in our region," said Jusuf Kalla.
