Baznas Siaga Helps Disaster Victims of Gunung Agung

INDUSTRY.co.id - The National Bureau of Amil Zakat (Baznas) together with Baznas of Bali Province has prepared and prepared the Baznas Tanggap Bencana (BTB) team that will serve the refugees in the event of Mount Agung eruption.

"This afternoon, we sent a team of 3 Response Baznas Disaster Response (BTB) with disaster response qualification with 1 Rescue Baznas car to Bali," said Director of Coordination of Ministry of Education, Renewal and Renewal and Training, Nasir Tajang, 23/9).

Nasir explained that the BTB team sent will join the medical team which was launched from Rumah Sehat Baznas (RSB) Sidoarjo, East Java. The team consists of 5 people, consisting of 2 doctors, 2 nurses and 2 people with disaster response qualification with 1 ambulance and 1 operational car.

To accommodate the displaced people, Baznas Bali Province has also made various preparations by establishing the Main Post of Baznas Tanggap Bencana.

"The post is located in the mosque of Al Hikmah Karang Asem Bali and Posko 2 Baznas Complex Response Al Hidayah Complex, Bedugul," he said.

As reported, the status of Mount Agung has reached level IV or awas. In the last 12 hours, there have been 14 tectonic earthquakes that were felt up to Gianyar Regency.

Information from the Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG) observation period at 00:00 to 12:00 pm, Saturday (23/09/2017) reported, crater smoke observed from Post Monitor Mount Agung in the Village Rendang, Karangasem, Bali. While volcanic seismicity has occurred 194 times in 12 hours. Tectonic earthquake recorded 14 times with the strength of 2.0-3,7 SR and felt to Gianyar Regency and part of Denpasar City.
