Baturraden Festival As Banyumas Regency Promotion Event

INDUSTRY.co.id - Purwokerto - The Government of Banyumas Regency, Central Java, through the local Youth Culture and Tourism Agency (Dinporabudpar) will hold the 2017 Baturraden Festival on October 14-15, said Head of Banyumas Dinporabudpar Asis Kusumandani.

"The event was held as an event to promote tourism potential in Banyumas Regency, especially Lokawisata Baturraden," he said in Purwokerto, Banyumas regency not long ago.

He said various activities will be held during the Baturraden Festival at Lokawisata Baturraden, among others Tenong Festival, "Grebeg Suran Baturraden", and various other cultural attractions.

According to him, it will also hold a "fam trip" or a tour to introduce tourism potential in Banyumas regency.

"We will invite a number of travel agencies to follow the 'fam trip' including attending the Baturraden Festival," he explained.

With the presence of travel agency, he expects the tourism potential of Banyumas regency more widely known and the number of tourists who come increasing.

Besides Baturraden Lokawisata which has been a mainstay, Banyumas also has a variety of tourist destinations worth visiting tourists, including Baturraden Botanical Garden, "Small World", Bukit Tranggulasih, Curug Cipendok, Curug Jenggala, Husada Kalibacin Tour, and so on.

Talked about the number of tourist visits to Lokawisata Baturraden, Asis said if until September has exceeded the target set for 2017.

"The target of tourist visits to Lokawisata Baturraden in 2017 set as many as 450,000 people, but until September has reached more than 500,000 people," he said.
