OPEXCON17 Chooses Nine Winning Achievement Companies

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - SHIFT Indonesia again held the title of Indonesia Operational Excellence Conference and Award 2017 (OPEXCON17). The conference brings together business leaders with operational excellence experts from practitioners, government and academia sectors, was held at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place with the theme "The Real Challenges of Industry 4.0".

Founder of SHIFT Indonesia, Teguh Sujatno, said that the theme of Industy 4.0, OPEXCON17 is expected to enable participants to see how to implement digital and transform IoT in their business process. "This is very important to do to deal with the phenomenon of business changes, especially in the service sector," he said in opening speech OPEXCON17, Wednesday (11/10/2017).

In addition to the conference, SHIFT Indonesia also presented the Continuous Improvement Award, the most prestigious award for the industry. This award is given to companies committed to improving sustainable business processes and quality improvement.

Continuous Improvement Award is a form of SHIFT Indonesia's commitment to develop a culture of continuous improvement in Indonesia. In the sixth year of implementation, there are at least 150 ++ registered improvement projects from three sector companies, namely manufacturing, service, and mining and energy.

All the incoming projects are then selected by the jury and selected 21 finalists (7 finalists from each category) to enter the final stage of presentation by the project leader in front of the jury. During the presentation session, all projects were assessed on the basis of significant project results, methods and problem analysis, creative solutions implemented.

 The best three projects from each category are awarded as winners who are eligible for the Gold Achievement award. And these are the names of the winning companies Continuous Improvement Award 2017.
