INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk. (Siloam) announced the opening of Siloam Bangka Hospital in Bangka Belitung province, Tuesday (18/07/2017). This is the 27th Hospital under Siloam management and became the first Siloam Hospital in the Bangka Belitung archipelago.

 Siloam Bangka Hospital has a capacity of +310 beds with strategic location in Pangkalan Baru, about 10 minutes from Pangkalpinang city. Bangka Island is one of the tourist destinations besides Bali & Lombok, famous for its beaches, diving areas, snorkeling, fishing and sailing.

 Siloam Bangka Hospital operates on +4,000 square meters of land with 9 floors and a total area of ​​about +20,000 square meters.

 Siloam Bangka Hospital is equipped with the latest medical equipment such as CT-Scan 128 slices, 3D ultrasound, Endoscopy and X-Ray. It is supported by 22 specialists, 9 general practitioners and 44 expert nurses. Siloam Bangka Hospital in its development will also serve the patient BPJS health.

 President Director of Siloam, Ketut Budi Wijaya, admitted very happy with the opening of the first new hospital built on the standard Siloam this year. The opening of Siloam Bangka Hospital expanded the presence of Siloam in 15 provinces and 20 cities in Indonesia. This is in line with the expansion plans and hopes this year more and more new hospitals will be built according to Siloam standards.

 "We believe that Siloam provides quality services to nearly 1.3 million residents of Bangka Belitung province," Ketut said in a press statement received by media crews on Thursday (07/20/2017).
