INDUSTRY.co.id - Karawang - B. Braun continues to continue its commitment to protect and improve the quality of public health of the world.
This time B. Braun organizes extension activities and free health checks for the community for people living in Kalihurip Village, Karawang regency, West Java.
Activities that promote the theme of 'Increasing Social Concern, Public Health and Environment of Kalihurip Village Together B. B. Braun Indonesia', took place at the Head of Kalihurip Village Office and attended by PT B. Braun Indonesia Management.
Managing Director of PT B. Braun Indonesia, Stephan Soyka said, "This is one of the core values of the company, namely sustainability, encouraging B. Braun to initiate various health education activities for people living around B. Braun Indonesia facility.
"This activity is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity of B. Braun Indonesia which is also dedicated to support the government's health and prevention of disease campaign program," said Stephen through his speech to INDUSTRY.co.id in Karawang, West Java (21/10/2017).
Through this activity, we hope that the people of Kalihurip Village will be more aware of health issues and start paying more attention to improving the health and hygiene of their environment in order to create a generation of healthy people.
Meanwhile, the Head of Kalihurip Village, Sukandi said, we are grateful to B. Braun Indonesia for sharing his expertise with us through the free health education and counseling program in the village.
"With this activity, we hope to better understand how to protect and improve our health through the implementation of a clean and healthy lifestyle," he explained.
CSR activities this time filled with health counseling session themed how to protect and improve public health when entering the transition season. Health checks consist of blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol tests.
On that occasion, B. Braun Indonesia also donated a number of medical devices to support the activities of Posyandu of Kalihurip Village, such as baby scales, hanging scales and other hygiene kits to raise awareness of the importance of a clean and healthy environment.
