INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Indonesian Motor Vehicle Industry Association in 2018 will present a special exhibition of commercial vehicles, GAIKINDO Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC) 2018, which will take place from 1 to 4 March 2018, at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).

"The Indonesian commercial vehicle industry has a very positive prospect amid the growth of Indonesia's infrastructure, and improving commodity prices and mining industry. And now GIICOMVEC will be a very appropriate momentum to encourage the commercial vehicle industry in Indonesia, "said Chairman Yohannes Nangoi, Tuesday (31/10/2017)

According to Nangoi GIICOMVEC exhibition in early 2018 is very good, because the growth of the commercial vehicle industry began to wriggle when compared with the previous year.

This is in line with data submitted by Frost & Sullivan which estimates the Indonesian automotive market will experience growth, based on several factors, including; government spending, infrastructure development and operational activities in Indonesia helped increase the need for commercial vehicles, became a stimulus for the commercial vehicle market and will add about 0.5 percent growth of Indonesia's automotive market.

The enthusiasm for the commercial vehicle market potential in Indonesia submitted by the Gentlemen Brand Trading Agents (APM) of GAIKINDO commercial vehicles at GIIAS in August also gave a positive spirit to GAIKINDO to realize its first exhibition devoted to the Indonesian commercial vehicle industry.

Rizwan Alamsjah, Chairman III GAIKINDO who oversees the field of exhibition stated that the implementation of the GAIKINDO exhibition, GIIAS for the last 3 years is believed to have a positive effect for the growth of the national automotive industry. GIIAS itself has a wide scope of automotive industry, so to focus more on Indonesia's commercial vehicle industry, GAIKINDO will hold a business to business exhibition (B to B) GIICOMVEC.

According to Rizwan the overall concept and atmosphere built at the GIICOMVEC exhibition will focus on helping the commercial vehicle industry capture its positive momentum, "GIICOMVEC will be an arena for commercial APM to bring their products and technology to the right visitors, and participants will also be given space and special time to show it directly, "he explained. He also added that at GIICOMVEC 2018, potential visitors will be given the opportunity to choose products that fit their business needs.

At the time of launching in early October 2017, GIICOMVEC 2018 received a positive response from APM commercial vehicle member GAIKINDO, major brands such as Daihatsu, DFSK, Isuzu, Mercedes-Benz Commercial, Mitsubishi Fuso, and Mitsubishi Motors have committed. GICOMVEC 2018 will also be followed by the country's Caroseries industry and other supporting industries.

Rizwan also expressed his hope for the implementation of GIICOMVEC 2018. "We look forward to GIICOMVEC's premier implementation, with high infrastructure growth driving demand for the commercial vehicle industry in Indonesia, may GIICOMVEC's presence provide a positive boost for our members of Indonesia's commercial and commercial broadly, "he said.
