INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Industrial area manager Pulogadung or PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (JIEP) continues to commit in realizing green industrial area. This time, he is partnering with PT Energi Management Indonesia (EMI) by opening a Green Corner service to facilitate investors and tenants in sustainable environmental management.
Head of Corporate Secretary of PT JIEP, Purwati Puri explained that so far the industry is synonymous with pollution. Therefore, the cooperation with PT EMI is expected to create energy efficiency and pollution pollution control caused by industrial waste.
"Green Corner will be a service for investors and tenants of PT JIEP how to manage the environment, and environmental monitoring," said Puri in Coffee Morning, themed Energy Efficiency and Pollution Control at its Pulogadung office on Friday (3/11/2017).
He said that despite the environmental impact assessment permit (EIA) that runs PT JIEP, the company is required to prepare environmental management efforts (UKL) and Environmental Monitoring Efforts (UPL) to be monitored per semester.
"So it must be inline UKL-UPL document of investor with EIA that we have," he concluded
PT JIEP itself requires companies to have inplant water treatment, so in the production process they are out to the community on the limit of quality standards, and when it comes out above the standard quality threshold will be given a warning. However, if not obeying the rules applied by PT JIEP will be submitted to Jakarta Environmental Management Agency or KLHK.
He added that so far in the pulogadung industrial area because the current manufacturing industry began to shift more to Stock, the level of air and environmental pollution can still be controlled.
To note PT. EMI (Persero) synergize with other SOEs. Some examples of such synergies include cooperation with PT. Angkasa Pura II (Persero) in energy efficiency at Terminal 2 of Soekarno Hatta Airport, and cooperation of Sea Water Reverse Osmosis facility development in Panggang Island, Kepulauan Seribu, with PT.
