E-BPKB Easing Vehicle Legality

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi assessed by the electronic digitization of Electronic Book Owner Book (BPKB) will make it easier for the legality of vehicles, either two-wheel or four-wheel or more.
"With this e-BPKB, the people who helped three to four days to take care of it could be just two extraordinary minutes, because BPKB is a mainstay and its tendency is ignored, if it's fast for what is ignored," he said in the e-BPKB launch Jakarta, Monday (13/11/2017)
In addition, Budi said with the process of digitizing it, it will facilitate the supervision to the owners of motor vehicles.
"We feel helped because the more controlled, easier to control the identity of vehicle owners," he said.
Later, he added, will also facilitate the process of Type Test Registration Certificate (SRUT) which will be integrated for vehicle brand holders.
Budi appreciated Polri's efforts in improving public services as well as professionalism in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 22 Year 2009 on Road Transport Traffic.
"This is a meaningful leap for society because without BPKB, the vehicle does not have his life, for that the functions of digitization can be further improved," he said.
On the occasion of Vice Chairman of the Indonesian National Police, Commissioner General Syafruddin said the e-BPKB system will be implemented throughout Indonesia for a period of three months.
"After this in Indonesia can be completed three months," he said.
With the utilization of digital technology, Syafruddin hopes that the community will no longer be burdened with the cost and time to manage BPKB and avoid illegal levies.
Meanwhile, Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucracy Reform Asman Abnur assess public service should adjust the development of the times.
"Public services have to be adjusted with technological developments, we can no longer avoid the existence of technology. In 2014 Internet users recorded 88.1 million people, 2015 rose to 93.4 million people and 2016 has more than 100 million more, so the public-based services the internet should be the hallmark of Indonesia, "he said.
