INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Indosat Ooredoo officially appoints Joy Wahjudi as President Director in the resolution of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM) held today. Joy replaces Alexander Rusli.

Joy Wahjudi was previously Director and Chief Sales and Distribution Officer of Indosat Ooredoo since 2014. Joy is not a new person in the telecommunications world. He has more than 20 years experience.

"Effective and disciplined succession planning is crucial as a key to corporate success and a key component of Indosat Ooredoo's competitive advantage," said Okeyoo Indosat Indosat Board member Johnny Ingemar Svedberg in his statement.

"Joy has been prepared in lieu of Managing Director and CEO since three years before now, proudly announcing Joy as Managing Director of Indosat Ooredoo," he added.

After the closing of EGMS, the composition of the Company's Board of Directors is as follows:

- Johnny Ingemar Svedberd, Director

- Herfini Haryono, Director

- Caba Pinter, Director.
