BNI Distributes Rp 300 Billion Credit to UMKM Through PNM

The cooperation started in 2007 is committed to channel and distribute funds amounting to Rp 750 billion to finance the perpetrators of micro and small businesses.
Until now, there are about 15,000 debtors who receive the benefits of credit disbursement BNI and PNM this. As a follow-up, in November 2017, BNI re-channeled credit through PNM amounting to Rp 300 billion in stages, in the initial stage of Rp 150 billion. This is a credit distribution of Stage VII of total credit commitments worth Rp 750 billion.
The credit distribution of Phase VII is marked by the Signing of Credit Agreement Document conducted by BNI Small Enterprise Division Leader Bambang Setyatmojo and Head of Finance and Financing Division of PNM Sunar Basuki in Jakarta, Tuesday (November 28, 2017).
Also present witnessed the signing was PNM Managing Director Parman Nataatmadja, Compliance and Risk Director of BNI Imam Budi Sarjito, and Finance Director of PNM Tjatur Herry Priyono.
Director of Compliance and Corporate Risk BNI Imam conveyed, BNI will continue to commit to support the MSME sector and empowerment of the people's economy.
"BNI has two strategies to increase lending to MSMEs, that is direct disbursement to MSMEs, or indirect distribution through strategic cooperation with bank and non-bank financial institutions such as those with PNM," he said in Jakarta on Tuesday (28/ 11/2017).
Since 2007, the execution of credit from BNI is used for UlaMM and Mekaar PNM customers. ULaMM is a capital loan service for micro and small enterprises with guidance to develop their business.
ULaMM is a PNM model and disbursed financing directly to individuals or loans to Business Entities. The Mekaar is prepared to provide services for pre prosperous women who do not have the capital to open businesses and capital to develop their business.
The cooperation between BNI and PNM has been running since 2007 through loan program. This cooperation is continuously enhanced with strategic alliances of commercial credit channeling used to finance economic actors of UMKM. Total loans that have been disbursed BNI to PNM until now has reached Rp 1.27 trillion.
In addition to cooperation in channeling financing for micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), PNM also took BNI to become a commercial bank that manages the finances of its employees, including in managing payments and salary management of about 5,000 employees and tens of thousands of employees of PNM subsidiaries.
BNI also prepares various consumers loan products suitable for PNM employees, ranging from home ownership loans, multipurpose loans, unsecured loans, to credit cards.
