INDUSTRY.co.id - Semarang - Regional Head Elections (Pilkada) in 2018 simultaneously, will it affect car sales next year?
Rudy Ardiman Division Head of Corporate Planning of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor said that the company will stick to Gaikindo's view on car sales next year.
"Shifting market share volumes affect the economic condition, the impact of Daihatsu market segment, we follow Gaikindo 2018, and it has not been calculated," he said in Semarang, Thursday (7/12/2017).
Recorded until September 2017, the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo) reported total wholesales (sales / distributions from factories to dealers) of four-wheeled vehicles reaching 803,757 units.
Details, Toyota led with a market share of 35.94 percent through sales of 288,850 units. For the second and third positions are still chasing between Daihatsu and Honda.
Daihatsu occupies second position with sales of 140,233 units and market share 17.45 percent. Meanwhile, Honda in third position with sales of 138,740 units and market share 17.26 percent.
