As of December, Realization of One Million House Program Reached 765 Thousand Units

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Ministry of Public Works and People's Housing (PUPR) noted that the realization of the construction of a million houses by 4 December reached 765,120 units or 86.7% of the total target. Of these figures, 619,868 units of which are home to low income people or MBR, while the remaining 145,252 units are commercial homes.

Director General of Housing Provision at the Ministry of Public Works Khalawi Abdul Hamid said that the main obstacle to the realization of the current subsidized housing development is the lack of effective licensing cuts in each region.

"But we are confident that within one month more development data will be added to ensure that the target of a million will be achieved or at least more than last year of 805,196 units," he said.

Currently, the government uses four methods of data association development of a million homes. First, the manual calculation itself from the built Ministry of PUPR. Secondly, built by the local government. Third, data from the association of housing developers, namely REI and Apersi. Fourth, data from other Ministries.

Furthermore, the four sources will be synchronized with the existing Bank KPR. So it is expected that the data presented is completely valid.
