OJK Encourages Task Force on Proactive-Babel Investment

In the event of sharing information to the media crew, Panca explained that the newly formed Task Force is expected in 2018 to have the right work program to provide maximum protection to the community from the investment target of the bodong.
Regional Investment Task Force in the region of South Sumatra was formed on October 28, 2017 while in Bangka Belitung the Task Force was formed on December 14, 2017.
The two Task Forces are consisting representatives from 9 local government agencies and ministries, are expected to move quickly in 2018 to create a work program that can increase public awareness and absorb information related to illegal investments.
Through the work program is expected to take precautions and narrow the space network company or financial services industry that seeks to commit fraud to the community by investing some money with the promise of a large profit-sharing, he said.
According to him, in the current economic conditions, people are easily tempted by the investment offer from a company that promises substantial profit returns within a certain period of time.
