5.47 Million Units Motorcycle Rolling in the Market Until November 2017

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The dominance of Honda motorcycles in the national motorcycle market is almost certainly difficult to fight this year, where until last November has pocketed total sales of 4.10 million units. that achievement controls about 75 percent of the national motorcycle market total sales of 5.47 million units.
Based on data from the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI), Yamaha brand Following in the 2nd position with total sales during January to November period of 1.22 million units. Both of these brands have traditionally competed in the national motorcycle market for the last few years.
In the next position is Kawasaki with total sales of 73,184 units, followed by Suzuki, which over the last year quite incentive to produce new products with total sales of 68,893 units.
The last position is occupied by motorcycle brand from India, TVS, with the acquisition of 1,138 units of sales.
In 2016, Honda also became the market leader by posting sales of 4.38 million units or 74 percent of the total national motorcycle sales of 5.93 million units. Then followed by Yamaha 1.39 million units, after which successive Kawasaki 97,622 units, Suzuki 56,824 units, TVS 1,873 units.
