Chief of Police Make Sure There Are No Potential Security Threats Christmas Celebration

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Chief of Police of the Republic of Indonesia (Police) General Pol Tito Karnavian said there has been no potential security threats on Christmas celebrations 2107 and New Year 2018.
"Until now there is no information about the threat of danger or disaster, but nevertheless we still tighten security," said Tito after his visit at the Cathedral Church Jakarta, Sunday (24/12/2017)
He said he had deployed all of his staff to the Polsek level to secure Christmas celebrations, Christmas holidays and New Year 2018.
"For homecoming flow, we make sure all personnel are present at specified surveillance points," he said.
He added security would be made until January 2, 2018.
"The whole range supports, so the situation is safe and smoothly until the future," he said.
Tito said with security, it confirmed that the Indonesian nation is a tolerant nation.
"The Indonesian nation is a nation of Bhinneka, a tolerant nation, we are from the ranks of the Police to ensure that the activities are going well," he said.
The same thing was revealed by TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto who said that his side had been traveling to three churches to make sure all activities were safe.
"We ensure smooth operation, Christmas service is safe, hopefully all can perform Christmas and New Year's services smoothly," he said. (Ant)
