INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, President Joko Widodo has a prerogative or full authority in choosing his ministers.
The polemic that now appears related to the double position in the working cabinet, in this case experienced by Airlangga Hartarto who served as Minister of Industry and chairman of the Golkar Party does not need to be exaggerated.
This was stated by the Chairman of the DPP Golkar Party in the Kemaranitiman Anton Sihombing in his written statement received by the editor, Wednesday (27/12).
Anton Sihombing rate, Airlangga Hartarto has managed to make many positive breakthroughs during the lead of the Ministry of Industry.
"I think the polemic is exaggerated, and Airlangga's thoughts are still needed to lead the ministry," he said.
It is said Anton, that there is no official rule that prohibits a person doubles position as minister and chairman of the party.
As long as President Jokowi still needs Airlangga in the cabinet, he thinks nobody can get in the way.
"I do not think there are any rules that prohibit double positions, moreover, the placement of cabinet members is the prerogative of the President," he concluded.
