First Semester, Amartha Channels Loans Up to Rp 100 Billion

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - In Semester I-2017, PT Amartha Mikro Fintek (Amartha) disbursed loans up to Rp100 billion to 38 thousand customers who are 100% women.
"Until the first half of 2017, we have distributed Rp100 billion, with 0% non-ferforming loan (NPL) level," said Amartha CEO Andi Taufan Garuda Putra in Jakarta, Wednesday (26/7/2017).
Taufan guarantee, the ratio of Non Performing Loan (NPL), is very low. Because of the financing scheme for credit that Amartha has put on a joint responsibility.
Where, the credit goes to the group of borrowers in a group of 15-25 people living nearby. If there are customers or partners who can not pay the mortgage, then borne will jointly by the group.
"Every day our friends there dipelosok collect coins for the installments that lend customers," explained Taufan.
Of the 38 thousand customers, said Taufan said almost most of them are used to develop their respective business, such as for the sale of vegetables, warteg, selling household appliances, to agriculture such as seeds and fertilizers.
