Pull Investors, Startup Must Create a Good Financial Statement

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The startup company is currently looking for investors. The goal is to run its business mainly in the digital economy sector. International Contact Partner RSM Indonesia Angela Indirawati Simatupang urges all startup companies to make good financial statements. The goal is to attract investors.

"Is the listing correct? Do they have a system to record financial transactions, whether they can make a good report," said Angela in Jakarta

According to Angela investors will see the company's ability to start up its financial management. It will be the benchmark of an entrepreneur providing capital to benefit from the startup company.

"The financial statements are important as a basis for calculating future prospects," said Angela.

In addition Angela also asked the startup company to fix the non-financial side because it has the potential to become a company asset.

Angela gives examples like Go-Jek, Tokopedia or Traveloka. The market achieved by Angela is already visible from total transactions, number of subscribers, and incoming customers.

"It's all seen outside the financial statements," Angela said
