Casio Launches Two G-SHOCK Limited Editions of the NIGO Collaboration Result with Kikuo Ibe

INDUSTRY.co.id - Tokyo - To mark the presence of the 35th G-SHOCK in April 2018, Casio Computer Co., Ltd., announced the launch of two limited edition models of collaboration by renowned Japanese fashion designer and also a creative director, NIGO, with creators of G-SHOCK, Kikuo Ibe. Both models are sold only 35 each in the world.

G-SHOCK lovers do not have to worry about having to go overseas or have to queue up long to get one of these limited-edition G-SHOCKs, because this particular model will not be sold as usual but through the draw.

If you are one of 70 lucky people around the world, we will confirm by email." said Hirokazu Satoh, Chief Representative, Jakarta Representative Office, CASIO Singapore Pte., Ltd. through an official statement to INDUSTRY.co.id, Wednesday (10/1/2018).

Satoh also said that this particular model is not sold at high prices, but only the price of USD 135 or about 1.8 million dollars only.

 The two models are priced at the same price of US $ 135 for the suggested retail price. While for the color DW-5635-9 has a yellow color and DW-6935-4 with pink color with each number of hours released to the market as many as 35 units.

The website dedicated exclusively to the draw was launched today, January 10, 2018, at 0600 GMT and registration opens February 1, 2018 at 03:00 GMT to 5 March 2018 14.59 GMT. While for the draw it is planned to be done in March 2018.

To add to the spirit of G-SHOCK lovers, Kikuo Ibe promised to deliver a single watch to one of the lucky winners, wherever the winner is.

These two new models are based on the first model of the G-SHOCK DW-5600 and also the DW-6900 which is the basic model of so many G-SHOCK collaboration models, and NIGO also feels a special relationship with this model.

To realize the dreams of both collaborators and to produce an unprecedented expression, these watches use plastic in very bright, translucent colors, and can even give the impression of a fluorescent light. The glowing paint is coated by two layers of plastic that after the final formation is coated again by UV resistant transparent paint. The new technology first used in G-SHOCK will protect the watch from the color fading.

This collaborative model provides a special design that features including messages from collaborators on the back cover, namely '35th Anniversary Model Thank you from NIGO & K. IBE', or 'Model 35 Years of Thanksgiving from NIGO & K.IBE '.
