Half Day Break, JCI Closes Stronger to 6,511 Positions

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (IDX) closed up 0.32% or 20 points at the end of the first trading session Monday (22/01/2018) compared to last week's position at the level of 6,490.
This morning, JCI opened in position 6.495, then move in the range of 6,484-6,524 along the first session of trading today. A total of 199 stocks experienced price increases.
As for 131 stocks declining prices, 144 stagnant shares and 139 shares were not transacted at all.
The total value of transactions across the BEI market reached Rp4.17 trillion. It consists of transactions in the Regular Market worth Rp3.44 trillion, in the Negotiated Market of Rp724.48 billion and in the Cash Market worth Rp23.7 million.
Trading volume in the first session of trading today was recorded at 61.96 million lots with 214,344 transactions. Foreign investors booked net sales of Rp40.52 billion. Nevertheless, they still recorded net buying volume of 929,846 lot shares.
Five of the nine sectorial indices of BEI are green. Index of mining sector experienced the highest increase of 2,66% or 49,2 point to 1,896 position. Then followed by index of agriculture sector and index of trade sector which each rose 0.98% and 0.69%.
LQ45 stocks that experienced price increases and became top gainers in the first session of trading today is ADRO whose price rose by 6.88% or Rp150 to Rp2.330 per unit, BUMI whose price increased by 4.86% or Rp14 to Rp302 per unit and PTBA whose price is raised by 4.49% or Rp140 to Rp3,260 per unit.
Meanwhile, LQ45 stocks that became top losers were WSKT whose price was cut by 2.28% or Rp60 to Rp2.570 per unit, EXCL price decreased 2.22% or Rp70 to Rp3.080 per unit and INTP whose price dropped 1.88% or Rp425 to Rp22,150 per unit. (Abraham Sihombing)
