INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Pinnacle Persada Investama launches mutual funds that can be traded in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) based on environment, social and good corporate governance.

"Exchange-traded Funds of BEI or Exchange Traded Fund / ETF are environment-based, social and governance of a good enterprise (environmental, social and governance / ESG) with XPSG trading code," said President & CEO of Pinnacle Investment, Guntur Putra in Jakarta, Friday (2/2/2018)

Currently, he added, ESG-based investment products are experiencing a growing trend around the world, then it is time investors should be more observant in choosing issuers and focus to invest in companies that have full commitment to the principles of ESG.

According to him, investment objectives include positive and sustainable impacts over the long term, and XPSG is an efficient product to achieve that goal.

"This ESG-based ETF combines active and passive strategies that enable investors to achieve consistent, liquid, transparent and diversified yield and performance potentials," he said.

He added that in the XPSG product, it cooperates with PT Indo Premier Sekuritas as a dealer and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk as a custodian bank.

"With the issuance of this ETF, is a testament to our commitment to encourage the development of capital markets," he said.

Meanwhile, IDI Development Director Nicky Hogan said that there are currently 15 ETF products in the capital market. ETF is an ideal investment product because it will facilitate investors to manage management strategies and achievement of portfolio yield targets.

"ETFs have a level of diversified risk and still promise better returns for investors," he said. (Ant)
