Chief of Police Tito Karnavian Establishes Gathering with DDII

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Chief of Police Tito Karnavian to various organizations as a way to knit back his relationship with Islamic organizations. At the same time clarification about viral video Kapolri that had circulated a few weeks ago.
"This is my friendship visit to the Da'wah Council. As long as I became Chief of Police, this is the first time I visited Da'wah Council," said Chief of Police. But Tito claims he is no stranger to the Al-Furqan Mosque. He told me, while still a bachelor, "Al-Furqan Mosque is where I perform Friday prayers and taraweh, because the distance is close from the office," said Tito who between tahun 1983-1992 served in Central Jakarta Police.
"So I am familiar with the Al-Furqan mosque, and not a new person in the Da'wah Council. So I am automatically a member of the Da'wah Council," Tito said to the audience laughter.
Chief of Police, Wednesday (7/2/2018) sorw visited the office of the Da'wah Islamiyah Council of Indonesia in Central Jakarta / By wearing a white coco shirt, black pants and souvenirs, the arrival of Tito was greeted by the Chairman of the Da'wah Islamiyah Council of Indonesia Drs. Mohammad Siddik, MA, Vice Chairman of Foreign Affairs Abdul Wahid Alwi, MA, Vice Chairman of Organization Development Drs. Amlir Syaifa Yasin, MA, General Secretary Drs. Avid Solihin, MM, along with the leadership of 13 Islamic organizations who are members of Islamic Organization Council (MOI). The meeting started at 17.00 WIB and finished around 21.00 WIB.
In the initial meeting, Chief of National Police Tito was accepted in the General Chairman's office, and afterwards was brought into the meeting room of the Da'wah Council which had been waiting for the leaders of the mass organizations involved in the Islamic Organization Council (MOI) and the media crew.
The Chief of Police had prayed maghrib together in the Al-Furqan mosque and then held a closed meeting with the Da'wah Council and MOI, discussing matters of socialization, political situation, economic and other matters.
