INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Head of Sales & Marketing Group MMKSI Imam Choiru Cahya said, this year PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) will launch some new products. Among them are Pajero Sport Limited Edition and Triton Athlete.
"On the product side, some of our newest products are soon launched in 2018, including Pajero Sport Limited Edition and the second most recent variant of Triton Athlete," said imam at Media Gathering Mitsubishi, recently in Jakarta.
He said, in addition to these two new products it can not determine whether to bring refresher models from City Car Mirage, MPV Delica, and Outlander Sport SUV.
"We learned all possibilities, both new and existing products," explained Irwan Kuncoro, Director Sales & Marketing Division MMKSI on the same occasion.
Irwan confirmed, although Pajero Sport and Xpander has become the backbone of MMKSI sales, but the presence of other models such as Mirage remains important for Mitsubishi in Indonesia.
"All our models, we consider that are important, meaning we remain sustain in the segment we have the product," said Irwan.
Throughout 2017, Mitsubishi's sales in Indonesia reached 79,669 units, of which 36,025 units of passenger cars (Pajero Sport, Xpander, Outlander Sport, Delica and Mirage) and light commercial vehicles totaled 43,644 units (Triton, Colt L300 and Colt T120SS).
Xpander's presence makes Mitsubishi's passenger car sales skyrocket 48 percent, while light commercial vehicle sales rose only 2 percent compared with 2016 achievements.
positive achievement in 2017 that makes MMKSI optimistic set sales target for this year, that is 140,000 units of vehicles with details of 94,000 units of passenger vehicles and 46,000 units of light commercial fleet.
